Hypertension or high
blood pressure, is not a new type of disease. Almost everyone knows or but do
not have any experience anout hypertension. However, not many know the causes of high blood
pressure.
1. Heredity
Not only the skin
color, physical characteristics or properties may be inherited from our
parents. If one, or both of your parents have high blood pressure, chances are
you also have a high risk for the experience.
2. Age
As people age, we are
all at risk of high blood pressure. Why? Because as we grow older, our blood
vessels elastilty also reduced so may cause constriction of blood vessels. As a
result, blood pressure increases.
3. Gender
At age 45, men are
more at risk for having high blood pressure. At the age of 45 years to 64
years, men and women may have the same risk stage. However, at the age exceeds
64 years, women have a higher risk.
4. Less Active
Usually, people who
live in the city are more likely to have less mobile lifestyle. Working at office,
and continuous sitting, plus the lack of exercising, will tend to increase the
risk of narrowing or blockage in the blood vessels. Consequently lead to
increased risk of high blood pressure.
5. Ingestion
If you like to eat
foods high in calories, fat, and sugar, until the time you probably already
subtracting uptake to circumvent the risk of high blood pressure. It also is a
common fact known to almost everyone: eating salty foods may hold a lot of
fluids in the body thereby increasing the risk of hypertension.
6. Excessive Weight
BMI (Body Mass Index)
may be one measure of risk. If your BMI is 25 to 30, or more, you belong to the
collection of excessive weight gain, and more likely to have high blood
pressure.
7. Stress
Stress can increase
blood pressure. Adrenaline will increase as we stress, and it may lead to our
heart pumping blodd faster that make our blood pressure increases. In addition,
during your stress usually will we choose bad food choices. We will tend to
take food to relieve ourself, and may be indirectly increase our blood
pressure.
Experts in the field
of ill-health advises that those who have high blood pressure problems should adjust
their lifestyle and take preventive measures.
One of the precautions
that should they make is by taking natural foods to prevent high blood
